A graphic artist, educator, and former Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice from 2005 to 2012. He engages in various activities within the realm of contemporary visual culture (art and design), ranging from artistic graphics, designing printed materials, publications, identity systems, and visual information to photography and multimedia endeavors. In his creative work, he seeks new frontiers for visual creation at the crossroads of analog media and the cyber domain.
His works have been exhibited in dozens of exhibitions both domestically and internationally. In 2002, he received the Juliusz Ligonia Silesian Award, in 2015, the Award of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship for the popularization and protection of cultural heritage, and in 2020, he was honored with the Golden Medal for Merit to Culture – “Gloria Artis”.

Pszczyna is a place steeped in history and a vision for the future, adorned with stunning nature that beckons one to return time and again. It’s a gem within our small homeland of Upper Silesia.
