Film and theater director, prose writer, screenwriter, academic lecturer. Although frequently delving into historical themes, their creative work encompasses universal subjects. The author of the screenplay and director of the film “Magnat”(“Magnate”) as well as the TV series “Biała Wizytówka”(“White Visiting Card”), which are loosely based on the fates of the princes of Pszczyna. A laureate of numerous awards at Polish and international film festivals (including the Grand Prix at the Figueira da Foz IFF in 1982 and the Special Jury Prize at the Gdynia FPFF in 1987). In 2022, they were honored with Platinum Lions for their lifelong artistic achievement.
