An art historian, director of the Castle Museum in Pszczyna. As the grandson of the first museum director – Dr. Józef Kluss – he often spent time at Pszczyna Castle and, years later, took on the position once held by his grandfather through a competition. A member of the Association of Art Historians, the International Council of Museums ICOM, and Museum Boards.

He has been awarded, among others, the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta – for outstanding contributions to Polish culture, for activities aimed at preserving and promoting Polish cultural heritage, the Gold Medal for Long Service, the Silver and Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis, and the Gold Honorary Badge for Merit to the Silesian Voivodeship.

Pszczyna is my hometown. It’s its history, landmarks, places full of memories, and above all, its people; the genius loci. It’s a place I deliberately chose for living and working. A city, sometimes annoying, sometimes disappointing, but it’s my city, in whose increasingly brighter future I wholeheartedly believe without limits.
